I used Red Seal Fireplace Chimney & HVAC to get a new wood burning insert installed into my old fireplace. I had a great experience with them from start to finish. Dan is super friendly, knowledgeable and flexible to help you find just the right fireplace for your home and his crew is also super friendly and solid. We encountered a small delay during our project which granted could have been handled a little bit better. Instead of informing me as soon as they realized there would be a delay and a shift in the installation date they let me know last minute. I understand how busy things can get in contracting and that complications and delays can arise. Once I expressed my concern regarding this item the follow up in keeping me updated and in sticking to new dates was excellent. Also, I stated up front that my timing is flexible and that I value quality work over timing and on quality work they definitely delivered. Overall, I am really happy with how the project has turned out and would recommend Red Seal Fireplace to anyone that is looking for a fireplace insert.

Our experience with Red Seal Fireplace in Vancouver has been incredibly frustrating and deeply disappointing. After reaching out to them for a service call, we were promised a response within 10 days, but it took a staggering three weeks for them to get back to us. This delay was just the beginning of our troubles. Before the day of the scheduled appointment, we received multiple reminder messages about their expected arrival. We rearranged our schedules to be available, but to our utter dismay, they never showed up. There was no notice, no acknowledgment, just silence and an entire day wasted. When we finally managed to contact the owner and express our frustrations, the indifference in their response was very upsetting. The owner casually mentioned that the oversight might have been due to someone else’s mistake, showing a complete lack of concern for the inconvenience caused. In all honesty, our experience with Red Seal Fireplace has been a complete letdown. We had hoped for a reliable and professional service, but what we got was unresponsiveness, disregard for customer time, and a lack of accountability. It’s truly disappointing when a company fails to live up to even the most basic expectations.

Absolutely wonderful company to deal with, from first contact with, Dan, until the job was done. Karl and his son did the repairs and worked into the darkness to get it done that day. They spent at least a hour cleaning up and left everything immaculate. Would highly recommend this group of professionals.
